Was ist MSCTF.dll?

Wenn ich mein gutes altes "WinXP" hochfahre, krieg ich (mehrmals) die Meldung "C:\windows\system32\MSCTF.dll ist keine Systemdatei!".

Was will mir (absoluter Laie) mein Computer damit sagen?

Ja, die Meldung heißt so, vielleicht auch "... ist keine aktuelle Systemdatei ..." ...

Die Meldung kommt nicht jedesmal, wenn ich den Laptop hoch fahre, nur ab und zu. Dann erscheint sie aber gleich 3(?)mal. Jedesmal klick ich auf "OK", und dann fährt der Computer normal hoch.

Service-Packs hab ich immer aktualisiert. Ich glaub, ich hab SP3 (?) ...

Der Pfad ist C:\windows\system32\MSCTF.dll".

Wobei ich ja Optimist bin, und viell ist das gar kein Virus, sondern nur eine veraltete, nicht mehr verwendete Windows-Datei ... (?)

Aber ich war nicht der Erste, der sich dafür interessierte:
