Ich habe das Produkt auch mal unter Windows 8 Release Preview 64bit Deutsch installiert.
Die Installation verlief problemlos.

Das Problem ist das Update der Virensignatur.
Es wird als erfolgreich markiert, findet aber tatsächlich nicht statt.
"Update auf Computer BETTELGEIZIG (192.168.0.4) von "http://62.146.66.179/update" wurde erfolgreich durchgeführt.
Es sind keine neuen Engine/VDF Dateien verfügbar."

Der Scanguard vermeldet:
Der Dienst wurde gestartet.

VDF Version: 7.11.28.204

Der Statusbildschirm vermeldet hingegen

Ihr Computer ist nicht sicher!
Ein Dienst arbeitet nicht korrekt.

Die Problembehebung startet das Update.

Wie lösen wir das Problemchen?

es ist bekannt das kein update funktioniert! es gibt noch keine unterstützung für windows 8

Deinstallation ist für mich keine Option.
Die Entwickler in Tettnang werden sicher nicht erst mit Windows 8 RTM ihr Produkt fertigstellen.

"es ist bekannt..." stand so nicht im Downloadbereich auf dem Server.

Von Windows 8 steht überhaupt nichts auf dem Server, deshalb wird es auch nicht unterstützt.

Wann die offizielle Version mit Windows 8-Unterstützung erscheit, hängt davon ab, wann die
RTM von Windows 8 erscheint.
