I have some problem about Antivir Guard...
After update and reboot, I found Antivir Guard can't enable.


I try to reinstall Antivir, Guard works as usual.
But after update, Guard is disable.
I can't click Activate to make Guard work.
Is something wrong?

Hi,

first try the following:

1.Go to Start->Run and enter %SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc and press the ENTER key.
2. In the opening window look for the AntiVir-services (Guard and Scheduler) and test
(A) if their launch-status is started or finished
(B) if the Startype is set to auto is set if not (change it accordingly!)
3. Just try the services through "service" exit and finish equal with "extravagant service start" to restart.

If this is not successfully, i recommend to install AntiVir clean a new , as follows:

1. Downlaod the Installation file and the Avira RegistryCleaner
2. Uninstall AntiVir on the control panel
3. Restart theComputer and start the RegistryCleaner
"read "keys' -> mark all -> delete
4. Restart ur PC again and install AntiVir a new
5. Restart your computer.

I followed your steps to check, remove antivir and reinstall.
Antivir guard still can't enable after update( guard versoin 9.00.01.26 -> 9.00.01.30).
My OS is Vista Ultimate 64bit SP1.
And I have another computer(Use XP SP2) can work normally after update.
Is guard new version not compatable with Vista Ultimate 64bit SP2?

I solved this problem.
In OS Safe Mode, check, remove and reinstall.
after update(wait for a long time), Guard is enable as usual.
