Cannot reload AVIRA program from saved master file

I have a program from some other company that is popping up repeatedly saying that The AVIRA files are corrupted and I have to buy their Antivirus software to get rid of the virus that has inserted itself into every program file that I try to reload. Is my only solution to destroy my drives, reformat and reload all my software?

Please provide us the name of this software and post a screenshot when you get the message too (You can upload the screenshot here and then post the link to it). I think it's a scareware/rogue.
