installing new Avira Toolbar

The instructions for installing the Avira Toolbar say that I have to complete the "slide-up below" which is supposed to appear at the bottom right of the screen. I understand what I have to do but the slide-up has never appeared. How do I find it?

Installing Avira Toolbar

I understand how to install the new toolbar, but the "slide-up" has never appeared. I'm told I can't have Webguard unless I install the toolbar. How do I do it? (I rebooted after installing SP2)

Hi dumbunny,

Please read the kb article once again, especially steps 5and 6:

Quoted

5. Accept the End User License Agreement to install the Avira Toolbar with WebGuard
6. Click on the Next button and make sure that the “AntiVir WebGuard” component is checked

After clicking "modify" and "next", the page you suggest (which makes reference to webguard), did not appear. Instead there was a page called "installing components" or something like that. So I'm back where I started. I give up and will be content with Antivir as it was prior to SP2. Thanks. It must be equally frustrating for you.
