Host File blocked

Hallo,

Every time I start my computer AVIRA informs me that host file was blocked.
How can I know which exe is trying to access the host file ?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Your hosts file is protected by Avira from alteration by unauthorized programs, this option is activated as a default setting, meaning that your Windows hosts file is now write-protected. ( You can disable this option)
Basically when a process calls for write access to your HOSTS file, this will not necessarily mean that your HOSTS file will be overwritten, but that it could be.

You can try and check which software is doing this by going through your autostart software one by one and disabling.

My result.
I'm using Blue Coat as parental filter. Blue Coat K9 seems to change the file for all the www.google.xx (xx: be, fr, ...).
Cheers.
