Get Avira Antivir Premium for Free for 180 Days?

Hi sorry for my english.
I have renew my antivir premium license for 3years today, but I have found this special promotion
Link Removed
If I have know I would have waited another 6month before renewing my license!(With a fake email?)

I'm very disappointed for paying 80$ when we can all have it for free

Antivir premium is already one antivirus that we don't know if the premium is better than the free, but now even the premium is free X(

very disappointed...

All the person who pay for this antivirus should have this free 6 months! If the free edition is not already the demo version then I don't know why I have pay to have a premium edition.

Hi .. I have not followed your link .... but I would be very suspicius of this 'offer'. Also I would not download a 'free' Antivir product except from the Avira 's own website.
Wait a bit and see what someone from Avira says about this link. Have a look on the Avira website and see if there is such an offer. This link that you are looking at could be a 'pirate' version with no permission to get updates etc ??
Be careful.
He had a photographic memory that was never developed.

Hello Lazaruth,

That is a special offer in association with PC-Welt. It isn't an offer to the General Public and abuse of these offers is tantamount to theft, which Avira is aware of.

Also it's not allowed to post the links here in the forum.

Cheers,

Steve

Hello Steve,

Does that mean Avira has to force PC-Welt to close this offer.

For who all, is this offer "Legal" ?

It's legal and no, Avira doesn't force to close this offer. The user can buy the PC-World to get this offer. It's an offer from PC-World to his customers. Nevertheless it's not ok to public this link here.

Sorry for the late post, but this question came to my mind -

Then from where does PC-World get these license keys - Is Avira providing the license keys to PC world for offering to their customers? And is PC world paying Avira GmbH for each generated license?

Hi Kevin,

certainly PC World and Avira have concluded a contract. This is a promotion. I don't know the details about such contracts and Avira doesn't publish such contracts. You'll find such sales promotions in many magazines, websites etc. from many other vendors too.

Hi Andre,

Thank you for the clarification. I thought these kinds of promotions were illegal, but now I know they are legal.
