debian lenny howto avira antivir personal

hello,

i have searched several boards for howtos for installation of avira antivir personal with dazuko
but i didnt find a good one. :-(

for exmaple: http://wiki.ubuntu-forum.de/index.php/AntiVir

but this didnt help

could you help me? im a newbee.

well you could try to use the antivir 3 installer. it already contains the new dazukofs and should install it.
if this doesn't work you can try to install dazukofs yourself:
http://dazuko.dnsalias.org/wiki/index.php/Downloads
you need to use the patch dazukofs for kernel 2.6.26 before installing it.
if this doesn't work you could try dazuko 2.3.7
as far as i know it worked with this kernel and antivir should also work with it.

hmmm.... irgendwie bekomm ich des nicht hin :-(
glaub bei mir liegts daran, dass er kernel header nicht findet.... kein plan

was werden denn für fehler ausgegeben?

sind denn die linux header installiert?
wenn nicht dann bitte das paket nachladen und installieren.

auf welcher Sprache führen wir das jetzt eigentlich durch, deutsch oder englisch?

Kudos on the new Antivir 3! It almost installed like a dream, except it hung up because it couldn't find the "kernel sources"; so I hunted for them on Ubuntu's Synaptic, but couldn't find them, so I installed the appropriate kernel headers, and tried the Antivir 3 installation again: this time it did install like a dream! Good job, Avira programmers!
